authentic riad experience
helpful staff environmental consciousness
I appreciated the kind assistance from youssef and ismail. They promptly arranged taxis and offered valuable recommendations. the riad has unique charm. The room i stayed in, including the bathroom, was clean. i was pleased the sheets weren't changed daily. This aligns with environmental concerns.
i noticed some noise, especially the sound of chairs being moved on the rooftop terrace in the morning. the door buzzer was also quite audible at night, because it is used for entry. the tv in the room had functionality issues.

the gold suite was spacious, and shower pressure was good. the riad supplied both body wash and shampoo. the room had a superking mattress (i almost wanted to take it home!).

The location is convenient. It's a short walk to the main square. the riad is close to local dining like pepe nero. i found the riad a good starting point for exploring the medina.

the staff offered excellent service. ismail met me upon arrival, a much needed assistance with local transport. the staff ensured breakfast was served early one morning at 6:30 am to accommodate a flight. (this was appreciated!).

breakfast included yogurt, pancakes, crumpets, bread, cheese, and cake. mint tea and orange juice were also available. there is a rooftop terrace. it offers views of koutoubia mosque.
